'What to Expect When You're Expecting' star Cameron Diaz loves 'getting older'

Cameron Diaz is one of the many stars in What to Expect When Youre Expecting, which is now in theaters, but the actress doesnt have any children of her own.

Diaz has made no qualms about being perfectly content with seeing where life takes her when it comes to having children, but one topic she is now speaking out about is her age.

The Gangs of New York star, who has dated Alex Rodriguez and Justin Timberlake in the past, said she thought being in her 20s was torture.

Now approaching the age of 40 her birthday is in August Diaz said ''I don't worry about age. I never have. I couldn't wait to get into my 30s when I was in my 20s. I don't want to go back to being 20, it was torture, Contact Music reports.

Something close to Diazs heart is working out, something that she does every day when shes not busy working.

''When I'm not working I train everyday I can, she explained. I like weights. It's important for women to have strong muscles - that's what carries you.''

Recently, Diaz debuted a shorter hairstyle. She explained it by revealing, I said, 'Yeah, I want to go shorter', and she went a bit shorter than I'd anticipated! I was like, 'The back of my neck's exposed!' Then I went, 'I like this haircut. Look how cute it is!'

Showbizspy reports Diaz recently spoke about getting older.

Im so, so excited about turning 40, she said. When I was in my twenties I couldnt wait to get to my thirties, now at the end of my thirties, Im so looking forward to my forties. I love getting older.
