Cameron Diaz, star of "What to Expect When You're Expecting," said watching her sister give birth made her feel a bit queasy.

Diaz told the Chicago Sun-Times she was present during her sister's Caesarean section, and while she said she felt a little queasy about it, she didn't pass out.

"I walked in and said, 'Why didn't anybody tell me there would be blood?' I was only 24. There was blood everywhere, and my sister's guts were on a platter. No man should ever see it. Nobody should see it," Diaz said.

Diaz said the message of her latest film about pregnancy and parenting is that nothing is perfect, the Sun-Times reported Saturday.

"As for me, right now I wouldn't change a thing. But the movie says you don't have to pretend everything is peachy. It also says it's really hard to be a human being. Doesn't everyone agree? But it's even harder to raise a human being," Diaz said.
