Cameron Diaz memorises haircuts

Cameron Diaz remembers people by their haircuts because she is so terrible with people's names. The 'Gambit' actress admits she has always struggled to remember people's names, so resorts to visual clues to associate them with when seeing them again. She explained: 'The feeling when I'm trying to remember a name is total emptiness. It's something that's been with me for a long time. I used to remember people by their haircuts. I'm a visual person. 'But now I have so many faces that I meet on a daily basis that I can't capture all of them.' Cameron - who left school at 16 to pursue a modelling career - admits she has no idea how she managed to graduate from high school. She said: 'I did graduate but I honestly have no idea how. I don't think I ever did one day of work in school.' The 40-year-old actress was in fact something of a rebel when she attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School, and bought marijuana off budding young ...

The report noted that Zoe has been so busy with her own ventures that the stylist has little time to work with her celebrity clients like Cameron Diaz. Zoe debuted a clothing line last year, and since then has also rolled out a jewelery and clothing l...

Cameron Diaz Says Every Woman Wants To Be Objectified, Study Shows She May Be Right

Image
Posted: November 29, 2012 Cameron Diaz thinks that every woman like to be objectified. While this may raise the eyebrows for more than a few women across the globe, a study published in Psychology Today may prove the 40-year-old actress right. Researchers began by explaining a term called self-objectification. This is what Psychology Today presumes Diaz was referring to when she talks about stripping for photographers: Im not some young girl with the photographer going, Will you take your clothes off? Im like [mimes stripping], How does this look? Theyre like, Today were not going to put anything other than bras and heels on you, and Im like, These heels are not high enough. Self-objectification centers on how one internalizes objectification to effect how a women views herself. For example, she begins to look at herself the way she imagines other people are looking at her. Researchers interested in finding out how everyday experiences of self-objectification gave a group of female...

Review: Gambit, Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz in an art caper

Oh dear. This remake of a 1966 Michael Caine art-forgery caper comes with a prestige cast and a screenplay by the Coen Brothers and it's still hand-across-the-brow terrible. The Pink Pantherish credit sequence that gives away the plot is an early warning sign. Colin Firth plays an art expert who recruits a forger (Tom Courtenay) and a Texan rodeo-girl (Cameron Diaz) in a scheme to rip off his obnoxious billionaire employer (Alan Rickman). The gimmick of the film is to run the plot twice, first as a fantasy in which the scam proceeds without a hitch, second as the hilarious bungle it turns out to be. Except that it's not at all hilarious, unless you savour the Coens' faux-British pedantry ("her invigorating lack of decorum would have enraptured my younger self") or the spectacle of Colin Firth edging along a hotel parapet without his trousers. And the combination of American sass and British cool is a total washout: Cameron Diaz doing karaoke is about as much fun ...

FILM YOU NEED TO WATCH: Cameron Diaz and Colin Firth star in Gambit

Image
What's the film about? The film follows private art curator (Colin Firth) who comes up with rather clever scheme to con England's richest art collector Lionel Shabandar (Alan Rickman) into buying a fake Monet painting. In order for the plan to work he has to team up with Texas rodeo queen ( Cameron Diaz ) to pose as a woman whose grandfather got the painting at the end of WWII. Who's in it? Cameron Diaz, Colin Firth, Alan Rickman Handbag hearts: This is such a fun, silly film. All three of the main stars in this flick have proven that they can do serious but now we see just how well they can do comedy. Naturally Cameron Diaz is no stranger to a funny flick but she is even better when paired with the likes of Colin Firth and Alan Rickman. The guys are equally as funny in their roles which have been brilliantly revisioned by the Coen Brothers. Those guys can do no wrong! From the hilarity of a naked Alan Rickman, to the sillyness of Colin Firth climbing around outside the ho...
