'Everyone at our toddler group says Orla looks like mini Cameron Diaz'

POSING happily by a Christmas tree, Orla-Rae Grundy shows why she was crowned our Sunbeams winner 2012.

Her cheeky smile and big eyes won over an army of Sun readers who voted in their thousands for the 18-month-old super-cute tot.

Her proud parents Kim, 28, a health club worker and dad Darren, 27, a computer technician, are delighted their daughter came top and enjoyed a special photoshoot with The Suns royal snapper, Arthur Edwards, last week.

Kim, from Bracknell, Berks, says: She is such a little diva so Im not surprised she was a natural in front of the camera.

It is such a lovely Christmas treat to be here having a family portrait with Arthur.

Orla-Rae was entered into the contest by her doting dad Darren, an avid Sun reader. Kim only found out two days later.

Darrens friends, family and work colleagues soon spread the word that Orla was in the running and started voting.

Cameron Diaz

Seeing double ... Orla has been compared to Cameron

Kim says: Everyone at our toddler group says Orla should be a model. Some say she looks like a mini Cameron Diaz.

Weve already put the paper cutting in a frame we loved the headline too: Winner takes it Orla.

The angelic youngster is a girly girl who loves her dolls and the colour pink.

But her parents describe her as an all-rounder.

Kim says: She loves playing with my make-up and hair products but she loves her brothers cars and trucks too.

Orla-Rae also adores all things Disney. Kim and Darren hope to take Orla and her brother Rhys, six, to the Florida resort in the new year.

Orla dotes on Rhys, who is ! autistic and finds it hard to form relationships and when it comes to his little sister, Rhys is definitely her No 1 fan.

He is the perfect big brother, Kim says. Rhys will often put his arm around Orla when she is sad or crying and ask her whats the matter.

Hes very protective and will always put Orla first. Its lovely to watch.

I think Rhys is an incredibly proud big brother.

Orla had three outfit changes during her photoshoot and picked out a silver sequinned bow for her hair.

She is also a true child of her time very savvy with technology. Kim says: She can already work the iPad and is able to access childrens TV shows and games without any help. She also knows to be careful and that the object is precious.

Smiling, laughing and blowing kisses at the camera, Orla-Rae charmed Sun snapper Arthur, too.

He says: Photographing Orla was a joy. She is a very happy child. If every job was as easy as photographing this beautiful girl, I would be a very happy man.

Orlas good behaviour came as no surprise to her dad.

Darren says: She loves Christmas decorations so Im not surprised she is so happy and smiley putting the decorations on the tree with Arthur.

When asked whether they will pursue a modelling career for Orla, Darren and Kim were unsure.

Darren says: Weve never really thought about it and have heard getting a profile together can be expensive.

Well see what happens with Sunbeams and go from there.

But Orla has become quite the little star in our home town.

Proud mum Kim adds: We have kept everything from The Sun to show Orla-Rae when she is older.

And our photoshoot with Arthur will take pride of place in the lounge. Winning this competition has topped off our year we are overjoyed.

The prize money of 1,000 will be going into a trust fund for Orla-Rae which she can use when she is older.
