Cameron Diaz Speaks Out: 'Every Woman Does Want To Be Objectified'
In a controversial statement that will have women around the world pondering over, Cameron Diaz claims, "every woman wants to be objectified".
In a candid interview with The Sunday Times, the 'Gambit' star said: I think every woman does want to be objectified. Theres a little part of you at all times that hopes to be somewhat objectified, and I think its healthy.
While talking about taking part in scantily-clad photo-shoot, Cameron admitted she personally finds them to be empowering.
The What To Expect When Youre Expecting actress added: Im not some young girl with the photographer going, Will you take your clothes off? Im like how does this look? while miming stripping.
Continuing, Diaz said: Theyre like, Today were not going to put anything other than bras and heels on you and Im like these heels are not high enough'.
"Im a woman, I know how to handle myself, I know what I feel comfortable doing and I know my sexuality," she said.
This statement may leave some woman thankful that a Hollywood leading lady has spoken out about how they feel, but some may be left wondering why their predecessors campaigned for equal rights and burnt their bras in the 1960!
