Trailer of the WeekThe Loved Ones
The Australian film, which gained a cult critic following after the 2009 Toronto FIlm Festival, debuted a trailer this week in preparation for a limited run in select U.S. theaters. Based in the bountifully cinematic world of high school prom season, the film looks like a modern update of the themes found in the classic, Carrie. Slick and terrifying, the trailer is one of the best of the year so far, think Misery, Pretty in Pink, and Psycho, all rolled into one.

We all know he can grow Jimi's trademark moustache from those ludicrous Gilette ads.
