Cameron Diaz writing nutrition book to help teenage girls be healthy, not skinny

Cameron Diaz is the latest celebrity who wants to use her power for good. The 39-year-old actress is planning to write a book to help teenage girls realise the importance of proper nutrition.

The What To Expect When Youre Expecting star isnt leaving the healthy eating crusade at just writing a book, she reportedly also has plans in place to tour schools in the US and speak to students about their attitudes to food.

Cameron is going to be visiting high schools around the country to talk to teenagers about their food choices and what is important to them,

She wants them to know that being thin should not be their priority, it's about getting the right vitamins and knowing what foods will give them energy and keep them strong. She wants to get their feedback, learn about how they decide what to eat now, and teach them to make more informed choices.

Cameron has said to have been inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow and her lifestyle website Goop. Its also thought that the death of her father has given Cam a more serious interest in heath and nutrition,
